Weldgrip Geotechnical employees David Reeves and Lee Hudson recently completed a twenty day Close Personal Supervision course at Kellingley Colliery. The course which was run by the Mines Rescue consisted of seven modules covering both the underground and surface environment with a big emphasis on safety.

The course was intended to increase knowledge and understanding in the mining environment for the employees, which along with additional training will result in a degree of competency in an underground environment. Weldgrip Geotechnical would like to thank Kellingley Colliery, Kellingley Mines Rescue and UK Coal for the opportunity and hospitality.
